டெல்லியில் இருந்து வெளி வருகின்ற புரட்சிகர ஜனநாயகம் (Revolutionary democracy) என்ற அரையாண்டு இதழின் ஆசிரியராகவும் இடதுசாரி செயல்பாட்டாளராகவும் செயல்பட்டு வந்தார்.
இந்தியா மட்டுமின்றி உலக நாடுகளில் செயல்படுகின்ற புரட்சிகர கம்யூனிச இயக்கங்கள் மற்றும் சோசலிச இயக்கங்களின் ரகசிய மற்றும் வெளிப்படையான ஆவணங்களை சேகரித்து பல்வேறு நெருக்கடிகளுக்கு மத்தியில் வெளியிட்டு வந்தவர். குறிப்பாக என்வர் ஹோக்சா தலைமையில் செயல்பட்டு வந்த அல்பேனிய தொழிலாளர் கட்சியுடன் நெருக்கமான உறவு கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர்களின் நிலைப்பாடு சரி என்று வாதித்து அவர்களின் ஆவணங்களையும் வெளியிட்டு வந்தார். அவற்றில் எமக்கு விமர்சனம் உண்டு.
எனினும், இந்தியாவில் புரட்சிகர இயக்கங்கள் வலுப்பெற வேண்டும் என்ற ஆவலுடன் செயல்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த தோழரை சென்ற ஆண்டு நேரில் சந்தித்தபோது முன் பின் அறிமுகம் இல்லாத போதும் புரட்சிகர அமைப்புகளைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் என்ற உவகையுடன் தோழமையான உபசரிப்புடன் பல்வேறு அம்சங்கள் குறித்து விவாதங்களை நடத்தினார்.
டெல்லியில் தங்களுக்கான ஒரு இடம் இருக்கிறது எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் வந்து செல்லுங்கள் என்று புன்னகையுடன் விடை கொடுத்த அவரது உயரிய பண்பு நிழலாடுகிறது.
இந்திய புரட்சியின் மீது பற்றோடு செயல்பட்ட இத்தகைய தோழர்களின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு எப்போதும் நினைவு கூறத்தக்கது. அவர் தனது 80 வது வயதில் 17-04-2026 அன்று இயற்கை எய்தினார்.

Comrade Vijay Kumar Singh.
He had been functioning as the editor of the biannual magazine _Revolutionary Democracy- published from Delhi, and as a left-wing activist.
He was one who collected both secret and open documents of revolutionary communist movements and socialist movements functioning not only in India but in countries across the world, and published them amid various crises. In particular, he had close relations with the Albanian Party of Labour that had been functioning under the leadership of Enver Hoxha. Arguing that their position was correct, he also published their documents. We have criticism of them.
However, when we met the comrade in person last year, who had been functioning with the desire that revolutionary movements should be strengthened in India, even though there was no prior acquaintance, with the joy of being from revolutionary organisations and with comradely hospitality, he held discussions on various aspects.
His noble quality shines, when he bid farewell with a smile saying there is a place for you in Delhi, come and visit anytime.
The dedication of such comrades who functioned with commitment to the Indian revolution is always worthy of remembrance. Yesterday (17-04-2026), He passed away at the age of 80.
